Coloring Technique
For the first time ever in Korea, Utec Optical Technology Laboratory (Young-Suk Kwon, President) has applied to have an optical lens coloring technology patented. Correcting the complications in existing color lenses, Utec's special coloring method enables consistently uniform and clear coloration, thereby guaranteeing comfortable vision even when worn for extended periods of time. Color lens supply concerns in cases such as replacing only one lens of optical frames or non-uniformity when requesting repairs have been improved to enable homogenous colors even when replacing after many years. Moreover, the specifications for the coloring method are easy and enable elaborate coloring systems for application on CR, mid-index, hi-index, super hi-index and RX lenses. The rainbow interference effect of existing color lenses has been eliminated and the eye fatigue caused by non-uniform coloration has been improved substantially. Particularly noteworthy is the retention of intrinsic color even with UV ray exposure and extended wear, putting it in the spotlight as an invaluable lens production system.
