SPRING/SUMMER 2008 COLLECTION
A study in shapes ¨C from classic to futuristic, small and rounded to extra-large and square ¨C and experimentation with materials ¨C that play on an acetate/metal contrast ¨C define the new Prada eyewear. The most significant themes include a series of sun and optical models made entirely of titanium, distinguished by a slightly perforated surface, typically used on the metal trimmings of Prada leather goods. The plastics in the collection alternate warm, natural colors with distinct, metallic colors, paired with solid or graded lenses in smoke, brown and green.
OPTICAL COLLECTION
Model VPR64I
Men¡¯s model, innovative and technological, made entirely of ultra lightweight titanium. The square front is connected to original perforated arms. The ends are made of acetate for greater comfort. Available in silver, gold and black.
Model SPR05I
Model with a rectangular, confident shape emphasized by signature milling and assertive sections. The bas-relief logo is reproduced on the new metal plaque which features a soft air opening on both arms. The palette offers a range of restrained colors, including black, carbon, tortoiseshell, dark brown, and the new ebony.
Model SPR10I
Model with a rectangular, decisive shape, softened by an air vent at the sides of the lug. A slightly conical metal plaque that bears the Prada logo tapers off gently along the arms.
Available in classic white, black and tortoiseshell, and in the new bottle and purple colors.
